Why Tutoring?
Because many of us could use some help navigating overwhelm in a world with high demands.
Tutoring teaches key life skills like collaboration, communication, and reflection.
Learning how to set reachable goals and manage stress serves students well beyond their academic careers.
Courtney will partner with you and help you:

Enhance your writing and reading processes.
Solve problems as you move through current challenges.
Navigate large assignments or an overload of to-do’s.
Take action independently.
Set and meet your self-defined goals.
Support you as we uncover what’s working for you and what isn’t.
Amplify your strengths and grow your confidence.
Manage your attention and emotional responses in challenging situations.
Center Executive Function, self-advocacy, motivation, and self-care in your day-to-day life.

What’s the difference between tutoring and coaching?
They are very similar and interconnected in my practice. Some clients will require more help with confidence-building, regulation, social support, and self-advocacy, while others will need to center study skills, for example learning schemas, work prioritization, and organizational tips. Because I have been both a teacher and a coach, I tend to work from the synergy of these styles. I use a wide spectrum of skill-sets in every session because a holistic approach ensures the holistic support of every client.
